Disc reading error
my rock band will not read the disc it is new what can i do?

- I just purchased a copy of rock band. Got everything out of the box and all set up. Went to fire up the game in the system and it either wont read the disc or locks up the playstation. I have one of the newer slim models, which everyone tells me shouldnt have this problem.

- I've taken back 2 brand new disks today.... the store said maybe they got a bad batch. After going to 4 stores that were sold out I lucked upon one with the game in stock. Yeah after I got home did the same thing. Sure I can go take the game back but I'll be out the game as well as alot of time and gas in my car. Playstation didn't test this game or what? My system is only 9 months old.

try cleaning the disc then try again

I was attempting to play a normal set in the workout mode and all I see as markers for the steps are these very dark tiny dots crossing the screen. I've tried restarting the game and checking in the normal game mode but the problem is everywhere!!! I haven't changed any settings... what am I doing wrong... this has never happened before!
