I try to follow the pictures in the manual but it is impossible to tell what to feed the paper through once you put it into the slot in the back.

Cut the paper off clean.
Slid it through the slot on the back.
The place the paper between the black plastic rail,
and the bottom of the calculator.
Keep feeding it in the slot untill you can see it under the
foam wheel.
The repedably hit the feed button until the paper comes
out the other side.
If it does not feed, the paper is not under the wheel far enough.
This should work on other similar models as well.

This solution really helped me. I applaud the author. The diagrams in the CASIO brochure should be ignored because they infer that you should try to feed the paper down against the print heads after you have fed it into the unit. After you have fed the paper into the back of the unit keep the paper flat on the bottom of the calculator, feed it under the black plastic rail and then press the 'feed' button until the paper 'grabs', turns upward and runs past the print wheel.

When feeding the paper through it helps if you first pull it across the edge of a counter or back roll it so it's flat and not curled.

Why In my casio apears one P word in the display, like an error?

From Casio support:
First, check the batteries, and ensure there is not a paper jam in the printer.
If both are fine, then while the calculator is in the "Print" mode, press the [CA] (or [AC]) button 20 times consecutively to clear out memory buffers. Try some numerical calculations, and if the problem persists, repeat pressing the [CA] button 20 times.
If the problem still persists, then the calculator may require service.

Have a little portable Casio HR-8TM. I cannot find the instructions to set the date and have it show at the top of the ribbon. Can you help?

You cannot "set the date" in that calculator, but you can insert a date by typing the date and pressing the # key.

I believe the rubber roller that feeds the paper in my Casio HR 8L calculator has come off. How do I replace it, the paper will not feed now.

i don't know this particular calc very well, but on most calcs, the paper feeds between the rubber one and a plastic idler roller that is on a shaft below the rubber one. if you can see the rubber roller turning, check the plastic one as it can sometimes slide to one side or the other, and bind up causing paper to not feed. you can usually get at it with a small screwdriver or something like that and center it back and that will take care of problem.

I have a borrowed Casio FR 105S printing calculator. How do I load the paper?

Make sure the paper has a straight clean edge. Feed the paper into the slot in the back - make sure the paper is straight. Paper will go in about 1/4 inch. Push the feed button and the paper should feed through the printer.

How do I change the ribbon on my casio hr-8tm calculator?

Place the roll on the wire thing at the back (I don't think it matters which way round); push the paper through the slot at the bottom of the back and then (having taken the clear plastic cover off) push it along the bottom inside at the back as far as you can then start to press the feed button; keep feeding it with your finger and pushing the feed button asnd it should pick up eventually.

Casio DR-T220

Turns out the incorrect type of paper was being used. The paper needed is the paper that is sensitive to pressure and this paper was not.
