This monitor with a television tuner does not have a coaxial connection. I was able to get cable by connecting (buying if you don't have) to my dvd/vcr which had the coaxial connectors. Then I ran the video component cable (green, blue & red - had to buy that) from the tv to the dvd/vcr. Then I ran the audio cable (red & white) from the tv to the dvd/vcr. A little tricky figuring out where on the tv to actually connect but eventually got it. YUV2 on the side.

hi; you wan to hook up coaxial to rj12 ,if you you do that the wire of rj12 has not to exceed 3 meters cause camera signal (video) to become weak. Camera Video signal has to be fed only to coaxial cable, coaxial cable has an insulation to prevent interference. so if you want to hook up be sure put a shielded wire. thanks......hope this help.
On alot of cable boxes there is also an "ANT IN" that you can bring your rooftop antenna in to. When you turn the cable box off, it passes the ANT signal to the tv.
Possibly a bad cable, but not likely its a 'wrong' one. Any RCA-style cable will do for SPDIF coaxial digital signals. Try another one. Are there other Digital Coaxial inputs you could try to prove the function?
You may have to configure your Digital Inputs so the receiver knows Digital Input 1 is Coaxial.
You have to buy a adaptor for coaxial to television antenna hook-up. One side is used to hook up the cable to and the other side is to hook up to you televisions antenna's screw hook-up. These adaptors can be bought in most electronic stores and you should be able to find them on line. Just use google for cable to television adaptors. I hope this helps you with your problem.

By coaxial, do you mean the composite (yellow)?
Either way you have to use the same style no matter what the cable. I mean, if you have s-video's IN to the reciever then you need S-videos OUT to the TV. ....Component IN to the reciever? then Component OUT to the TV. And so on. You cant have composite cords going into the reciever and use a component cord out to the TV (with the exception of a few models).
THANKS YOU SAVED MY LIFE LOL
