Question about Sharp BDHP20U Blu-Ray Player
Cannot play dvd
We just figured this out. We had already tried to update the firmware through the blu-ray device itself directly from the website. For some reason, that was not successful. We had to download the latest firmware from the samsung site onto our computer and then burn it onto a CD. Then we used the CD to load into the blu-ray and updated it's firmware to handle some newer movies we had purchased. It now is able to play the problematic movies. The samsung site has instructions for doing this. Good luck.

I could not burn to a cd, but was able to connect the player to my routor and it took almost 3/4 hour to complete the task. Once I did this I was able to view the movie. i had to change all the settings on the player again for viewing the movie. Thanks for the help
