Generic problem for all Heaters

Charmglow Electric Fireplace ***NO HEA...

I have a charmglow electric fireplace all switches light up but no heat and fake flames do not work. ideas?its on a dedicated circuit and bulbs are all good. all switches work as well. i`m guessing circuit board. where can i get that from? no owners manual

My problem was lights but the heater would come on for 30 seconds then shut down. I found a loose wire on the electric motor assembly for the blower fan. I had disassembled the complete before I found the loose terminal. It only required some soldering. Works fine now.

Charmglow electric heater flames would light up but no heat, I called the 1 800 890-4076 thats posted and the customer service rep. was very rude and very very nasty!!!!!! Thank God her supervisor overheard the conversation and gave me a different number!

I have a Charmglow Electric Fire Place. Every time I turn the heat on, it stays on for about one minute then no heat. Will not turn on again. Could you explain what the proble could be? Who could I call for services? tjsagedy@optonline.net - 732-830-5725

We had the same problem except the fireplace shorted out and caught fire. (thank god we were home). After fighting for about 2 months we did recieve a replacement insert. It has been a year and now its getting very very hot.

I have the same problem, lights work, fan and heat doesn't. Was working fine one minute, next no heat.

DITTO. IT WAS WORKING WELL. THIRTY MINUTES LATER, ONLY THE GLOW OF THE "AMBERS" WAS NOTED. HELP!
