Question about Brother MFC 210C All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have a Brother MFC 210c printer that has not been turned on for quite some time due to lack of ink. Today I tried to install the software but the machine will not power on. I've checked to see if the new ink cartridge is correctly and tightly inserted. It is. I've also tried using a seperate outlet. This makes no difference. Please tell me you have an answer to my problem. Thank you in advance for your help. Deb Jones
Do any power indicators come on? If not, then check all power connections- if all is OK here, you might have a power supply problem, which, on most printers is internal to the printer. Repair would require tech savvy. If you do have a lit power indicator, and no activity otherwise, such likely indicates an error condition. If indeed printer has set unused for a substantial period of time, ink might've dried inside the printhead(s, as it sounds like this uses separate ink tanks/printhead(s). What repair might be possible beyond this, I don't know.
