You may want to try Ebay. When you get the chance, send me the model #, I can do some research and try and find you one.

SOURCE: removal of tv stand

The stand is usually held in by 4 Philips scres on the rear of the TV.

The stand itself has 2 "Arms" that point upwards, about 4 inches, they go up into the base of the TV, screws then go in from the rear of the set, low down, to secure the legs in place.

The stand, swivel mechanism and "arms" all stay together.

Good Luck, I hope it helps.

SOURCE: unstable 52'' TV. don't want to mount on wall

Hi,
There is support belt supplied with TV that need to be fixed on TV stand base and shelf / base cabinet to avoid any toppling over.
Please check user manual of your TV, procedure is written there.
Thanks.

Testimonial: "Thank you! There wasn't any strap w/ the TV so I contacted Sony. Their website sells the strap. I've been sick since Jan 4, so cdn't reply till now"

How do I remove the TV stand from a Panasonic 50Px80U?

Do you mean the original pedestal base for the Panasonic TH-50PX50U? The base has two vertical posts that fit into recessed areas in the TV. Then four screws (two per post) secure the TV and base together. To remove the base, place the TV screen down on a solid surface that is covered by a clean soft cloth. Remove the black M5x25 screws and slide the base away from the TV. To store the pedestal more easily, remove the 4 silver M5x18 screws that secure the posts to the base. A Philips head screwdriver is needed. Save all of these parts in case you need to put the pedestal base back on the TV.

See page 7 of the Quick Start instructions here: https://pdf.crutchfieldonline.com/ImageBank/v20090127124100/Manuals/133/13350PX80.PDF .

I hope this helps.

Remove pedistal base from 24h898 aoc envision tv

You need to remove the cover that hides the 4 screws that hold the stand to the monitor. There are 3 pieces to the pedestal base. The base plate, the pedestal, and the screw cover. To remove the screw cover, look on the back where the pedestal attaches to the monitor. There is a cover just above the pedestal. Pinch the top left and top right sides (about one inch from edge) to unclip the cover. Remove the 4 silver screws (2 on each tab) and put them in a ziploc bag to avoid losing them. Tape them to the pedestal/base and cover.

Toshiba 52 inch flatscreen

I have just completed removing tha base from a Toshiba 52 inch HDTV. There are 5 screws in total. Three about 8 inches form the base and another 2 about 4 inches from the base in the arrangement shown below

(X) is a screw
(l) center line

X X X 3 screws 8 inches from base
X l X 2 screws 4 inches from base
______l______ The base

Keep your feet clear as your undoing the last screw..the base slides out vertically downward and weighs about 10-15 pounds so keep your the toes, fingers etc safe. The risk of being sued may explain why Toshiba didn't this publish in the US manual.
