I understand the washer and dryer of your Frigidaire laundry center, model# FEX831CS, are both giving you troubles. I suggest resetting your appliance, be either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
Sometimes there is a GFI or ground fault interrupter switch in the circuit. This is a wall plate which has a mini switch between both plug-in holes in the wall plate. Sometimes these are wired in-line where you have 1 master and additional outlets. This means that if the wall plate your washer and dryer are plugged into does not have a little red or black button to push to reset, there may be another wall plate in that room which has it instead.
Sometimes circuit breakers in a fuse panel are marked wrong. You may need to reset a different breaker.
You said: Everything was working fine, now we get no panel lights, the dryer
light doesn't, dead in the water! Checked the plug...unplugged it and
plugged it back in. Checked the circuit breaker...ok. What next?
I'm sorry to tell you that you need hands on service. If I were there hands on I could diagnose the problem.
You may have an electronic malfunction and that only a trained technician can diagnose!

I have the same problem. I used the unit 2 days ago and no problems- just bragged about the unit yesterday and now today it will not turn on and it is no longer under warranty. I also checked to see if power to plug and it is fine. Any suggestions?
if the machines are both on the same outlet i would attempt to run them on seperate outlets first to see if it improves. as time lapses breakers or gfi's can weaken and a continous amp draw esp. in the spin and the ignition stage at the same time which are the largest amp draw from either machine at any give time could be causing the issue. if this does not work you need a tech to look at it
no lights at all?
take top off. check power present at suppressor capacitor (1st in line to power inlet) and power present at output from suppressor. you will needs a meter.
check on/off switch has power at input and output
