My LG CU 400 has been fine for years, I've had it since new... 2 days ago I noticed that I had not gotten any calls all day. When I checked it I had gotten both calls and texts- but there was no SOUND! I have tested by trying to play my ringtones and message alerts- nothing will play. My sound is turned up. It will vibrate, but will not play sound. I can call out and can receive calls.I can hear others talking and they can hear me. I love this ancient phone and would hate to have to get one of the crappy new ones. Help me fix this!

My iphne 3 will only vibrate but not ring

If you're missing incoming phone calls due to your iPhone not ringing, you may have accidentally switched the ringer to vibrate or silent, according to Apple. The switch on the left side of the iPhone turns off the ringer and usually sets your phone to vibrate mode, but if your iPhone's vibrate setting is also disabled the phone will instead be set to silent mode. When in the phone's sound settings vibrate mode can be enabled, and the ringer volume of your phone is adjustable.

BlackBerry Tour: How to make it ring and vibrate for incoming calls

You can customize your BlackBerry Tour so that either it rings when you get a phone call, or it vibrates -- or both. To make your phone both ring and vibrate when you get a call, go to your BlackBerry's sounds and ring tone options, which you can get to by either of the following two ways:

#1 - Use the trackball to go to the sound icon in the upper left corner of the main screen and click on it, then toward the bottom of the list that appears, select Set Ring Tones/Alerts, then select Phone.

#2 - On the main screen, press the BlackBerry button (the one with the seven dots) to take you to your Home folder. Scroll down to the Options folder (it's usually toward the bottom, and it has a wrench icon) and click on it, then select Sounds and Ring Tones.

From this scren you can select the ring tone that you want and adjust the ring tone volume. Then scroll down to Vibration and set it for On.

There is also an option for Vibrate with Ring Tone. If you turn this option on, the phone will both ring and vibrate at the same time when you get a call. If you turn it off, the phone will vibrate first, then ring. Either way, you'll get the ring and the vibration -- it's just a matter of whether they happen together or not. To see the difference between the two options, use the "Try it" option at the bottom of the screen.

When you've made the selections that you want, exit out of the options screen, but be sure to choose Save rather than Discard to save your changes.

I have a nokia 6275 cell phone but he can't do vibrate in any mode

Go to profiles, select a profile you wish to use, click on personalise. For the vibrate option, you can select 'vibrate, then ring', if you want it to vibrate before it rings.
Select 'rythm', if you want it to be vibrating as it rings .
If you need a profile where it only vibrates without sound, most prefarably in the silent mode, select that profile, choose the personalise option. It the ringer option, select none. In the vibrate option, select vibrate only.
Pls if this was helpful, rate it a thumbs up.

Ring vs vibrate

This phone allows you to independently set ring and vibrate modes. When you access "Call Vibrate" to set the mode, also visit the "Call Ringtone" menu to turn off the ringer.

You may want to leave the vibrate mode OFF and your ring tone ON and use the quick keys to switch between ring and vibrate. Two ways to do this, push and hold the # key to switch between normal mode (the settings you chose in "Call Ringtone" and "Call Vibrate") or use the side volume button to access the "Master Volume" and select "All Off", "Vibrate" or a ring tone volume.

If this helps you, please leave me a good rating.
