Question about Sanyo DS32920 32" TV
Sanyo Ds32920 The picture has color distortion on the top and bottom of the screen in what looks like random places. In addition, and what is troubling me most is a barrel effect occurring on the sides. There was a blown 2200uf 25v on the PCB that sits directly on the yoke, but I haven't been able to locate any other abnormalities.
This could be attributed to tuning reception of your tv. If your using antenna only, it is most probable. If cable, check your line.
If this is a crt type, moving that tv with that size could somehow bend its circuit board. Loose connection is a probability. Could be some minor component is detached from solder. This can be attributed to tuner and vertical IC.
Just for an input.

Usually the result of a weak or interruption of the signal. If it occurs on all channels, look into getting an inline amplifier. If you have several splitters going to different tv's or a multiple splitter, the signal is degraded each time the signal is split. You can test this be temporarily making a direct link to the TV from the cable source. If it clears up, then you know you need to amplify the signal.
