Hi. If it is a Sharp, turn key to reg, power off/ on at wall, then press CLEAR (C). If it is a Casio then do the same, or just turn the key off/reg and it may resolve it. For any other brands, just ask. If problem persists, then you have a jammed printer.

E in left corner of display , cant do anything

Press Clear (CL). Error should go away. If not, keyboard is usually faulty or sometimes printer. One of the users has the manuals for this model which may help:

I have a problem with my cash register. it is saying printer error and I can no longer cash up at the end.

There is a problem with the printer. Check for paper stuck in it. If it's clear, have it checked by a technician

What do I do about a RAM chksum error G2 on our Verifone V510?

Probably the best way to correct this problem is to clear the RAM and download your app. again. In other words start over with a clean slate. After doing this you still have the same problem, you may need to open the machine and disengage the battery. This would clear the RAM, but you would then need to clear the tamper error message. I have the javlin cs300 and dos not matter what key I press it always comes up with E on the screen

The internal diagnostic system has detected an error and is shutting you out to protect the other circuits. you will have to find what's wrong with it before it will clear and let you enter. Usually the "E" is for error, meaning it has detected an error in the circuits some where. I would call the company and get a trained tech on the phone and maybe they can tell you how to straighten it out, sounds like a software issue.

In Sharp registers, Error 32 means no cashier is signed on. It should be just a matter of touching 'CL' to clear the error, then '1' "CASH #" to sign on as Cashier 1. Go straight from there to entering a sale.
Sharp allows a program option to force signing on before every sale, but it's not the default. Somebody probably accidentally signed off by touching the CASH # button without a number.
Another program option which probably doesn't apply here is to hide the cashier code, putting only dashes or stars on the display & receipts. In that case you have to enter CASH # [code] CASH # to sign on.

You have logged yourself out of the machine. Press CL then 1 then CLK# or CASH#
