Re: composser makes clicking sounds evey 5 sec.
I think the compressor is trying to protect itself; the refrigerant level is probably too low to allow operation.
That would also explain the poor freezer performance.

Open the fridge and look at the top right corner. Hold down the little switch that turns the light off for about 10 -15 sec you should here a light humming sound like a little fan. If the sound is loud or there's no sound at all. It's the condenser fan motor. Which will just keep breaking down over and over again. for more info read my review.
What is a "drain plug"??? Never seen one on a fridge ;) Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section underneath the evaporator coil. Make sure water drains when you pour it in. Good luck! :)
Hello here is how to fix the problem, first you have to remove the ice bin then then press the freeze temp and power cool buttons for about 12 seconds until the display panel switches to the option mode and you hear a beep.
A number under "Frige temp" corresponds to the option number. Press the fridge temp. button to increase the number and the power cool button to increase the number and the power cool button to decrease the number. set the option number to 3
now you have to select the input data to control the water supply time. Press the freeze temp button to increase the value. Press the power freeze bottom to decrease the value. Choose the right amount of water supplied to the ice tray which should be to where the water level is even with the rib on the inside of the tray.
DONT SAY THAT COMPRESSORS BAD YET !!!! TECHCUMSE AND COPELAND ALL HAVE THE SAME COMPONENTS FOR STARTING THE COMPRESSOR.
ALL COMPRESSORS HAVE EITHER A "PIN-TYPE PLUG-IN START RELAY, OR CAPACITOR START ASSIST RELAY" TO GET THE COMPESSOR TURNING.( FROST-FREE REFRIGERATORS ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE A START-CAPACITOR, RELAY, AND T-STAT COMBO ON ALL MAKES.
THE IN LINE BI-METAL TYPE T-STAT THAT PREVENTS THE COMPRESSOR FRON OVER HEATING... THEY CAN GO WEAK. THIS IS THE "CLICKING SOUND YOU ARE HEARING !!!
CALL A REPUTABLE DEALER THAT IS "FACTORY CERTIFIED" FOR YOUR MAKE AND MODEL AND GET A "FLAT-RATE" DIAGNOSTIC CHECK PERFORMED.
NEVER LET A REPAIRMAN TAKE DEFECTIVE PARTS OUT OF YOUR HOUSE FOR ANY REASON. BY LAW THEY HAVE TO LET YOU KEEP THEM UNLESS THEY ARE REPLACING THEM COVERED UNDER WARRANTY FOR EXCHANGE.
UNFORTUNATELY HUNDREDS OF CONSUMERS ARE "BILKED" BY THE " DOI-IT-ALL REPAIR-MAN.
MOST MANUFACTURES ONLY HAVE 1 YEAR ON COMPRESSORS FOR REFRIGERATORS 5-10 YEARS ON A/C COMP.
DONT BE AFFRAID TO WATCH AND ASK QUESTIONS TO REPAIRMEN YOU LET "INTO YOUR HOME".
