The extended grip allows a lower grip position. The low grip is useful on steep traverses so you won't have to shorten the length of your pole.

Hpf4400 trat extension

I figured it out today. There is a plastic "catch" between the two halves of the paper tray (where the extender was stored). Grip the sides of the extender and wiggle it around firmly but carefully in different directions. You should eventually get the correct angle so the catch releases and you will hear a "click". Then the extender folds easily back inside the paper tray.

What is the "Japanese" penhold ping pong paddle grip?

This grip is a variation to the "Chinese" penhold grip. Instead of curling your pinky, ring and middle fingers around the back of the blade, extend them so that the tips of your fingers are touching the rubber. This allows players to have a more powerful stroke than the "Chinese" pehold grip.

Problem with foot going over differing heights of fabric at seam joint and feed dogs barely gripping fabic enough

I've been sewing for over 30 years, if it were me & I bought a Bernina & that happened I'd take it back & find out why it happened.
I'd take a piece of the fabric & thread & let them sew it & see what happens.
a machine like that should sew so good, you'd be saying look what I sewed, instead of this can't be happening...

How do I get the throttle sleeve out of the throttle grip?

Depends on whether you're trying to save the grip or the sleeve. I'd replace the sleeve and the grip at the same time if you're replacing the grip. The sleeves aren't that expensive. But you can try to work a long thin bladed screwdriver down between the sleeve and the grip. Then spray some WD-40 or something in between the grip and sleeve. Try to work the grip off.

I have a Manfrotto 685B monopod that I have had for about a year. Recently I noticed that it has gotten very hard to extend or retract the leg sections of pod. I looks like there is a wax substance on top...

If it was second-hand or pre-owned, the previous owner may have applied some form of lubricant to it. From a look at the images on the Net, it appears that the upper sections are adjusted by twist grips. If this is so, just unscrew them and separate the leg sections carefully, after which they can be cleaned. There may be a bevelled collar within, to grip the section - be careful with it.
The bottom section seems to have a standard lever lock. There should be a couple of screws holding this to the middle section - loosen these, then slide the leg portion out and clean it as well. When re-assembling this part DO NOT over tighten the screws - just enough to prevent the locking collar from moving.

An incorrect toyota corolla key has been inserted in the ignition lock of my 2000 Camry and it is stuck. How can I get it out? Alternatively I have now got access to the lock but can't figure out how to...

let me sugges that you first spray plenty of lubricant down the key slot. Get a small pair of vice-grips & lock onto the inserted key. Use any screwdriver, or other tool that will lay between the vice grips & the cylinder and use a leveraging motion with the vice-grips to easily extract the key. Your vice-grips would be at a 90 to the key & hopefully you can grip just below any plastic area. Stick something through the hole & grip below there & pry. You shouldn't have to actually do more than leverage the key out & since it went in, it shouldn't harm anything. Make sure the key hasn't been turned in any direction first and is in the off position. Good Luck & hopefully this will save you some time.
