Netgear routers seldom need software to set them up as it's on the web access to the router. Try www.routerlogin.com or 192.168.1.1 and see if it opens up the router's browser.

If you want to download the software, look on the back of the unit and find your version and then go here:

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

you can find the support page for Belkin routers here:

http://en-us-support.belkin.com/app/product/list/q/routers/

follow the directions on screen, select your make and model number, and version (if needed) and you should be able to download the proper drivers for your device.

I lost the installation CD for my linksys wrt54g v8 router and want to install it on a new computer...how can I get the software?

You should be able to go to the Linksys website and download it. That is how I have normally done it with mine.

Take a pen or other pointed object and press the reset button (located on the back) for about 10 seconds. This will reset the router to its original factory default settings (including the password to get into the router). Then go in and reset all the appropriate settings you need.

I have switehed to Grande Cable and my router will not work

ok, lets test the first obvious things. keep in mind that i'm not trying to be insulting at all. i don't know if my words may come across that way, but that is not my intent.

have you unplugged both the modem AND the router, connected them, THEN powered them on? the modem in particular may need to be unplugged for a time varying from 10 seconds to 60 seconds.

is the cable good? try using this cable to connect your modem to the computer. try using another (even if shorter) known-to-work cable to make this connection.

if the long cable fails, and the short one works, then that is likely our problem. if they both work great, we keep looking.

please let me know how these tests help you.

Password for setup program lost /WEP-key??

If by set-up program you mean 192.168.0.1, then the default password is "motorola" and username is "admin" from there you should be able to see everything you need. If you changed it from the defaults, then you might have to reset the SBG900 to factory defaults by pushing and holding the small reset button on the SBG900.

I never had to run any "setup program" to get mine working, just plug and play. If you did need to install additional software then you might have problems that I am unaware of. Hope I was able to help.

Router burnt out

If you reset both the computer and the router at exactly the same time it should work but if it doesn't you most likely need a new router. Hope this helped =)
