Re: Motorola V3i USB cable

You will also need to use the motorola software that came on a cd rom with the phone, otherwise click on the link to download. after that it's a cae of locating you files and clicking the pc to phone icon.

Re: Motorola V3i USB cable

Hi all, you might also want to try using a memory card reader to down/upload files to/from your PC from/to your phone memory. In the absence of a reader, plugging in your phone's usb connection to your PC there would be an additional drive, check/click on your My Computer and should show as a removal drive, that is your phone memory, then you can up/download files. This is better explained in your phone's user manual page 29. A copy is also available online at Hope this work out for you. Regards.

My Acer is not recognizing the S9 so i can pair with my computer

S9 use the popular USB connection which sometimes produces errors while connecting. These messages are similar to the "Device Not Recognized" error received with various USB devices. Fixing an S9 is sometimes specific to the brand, but they are so similar that most can be fixed the same troubleshooting steps.

Device Manager

Click "Start" and go to "Control Panel." Double-click "System" and locate the Hardware tab to find the Device Manager. Vista and Windows 7 users can just type "Device Manager' from the start menu.

Locate "Disk Drives" from the list and double-click "Portable Device." If there is an exclamation mark or other error on the device, go to the "Drivers" tab.

Click "Uninstall" and remove the player. Restart the computer and attach the player reinstall the drivers.

Anti-virus conflicts

Plug the S9 into a different computer to see if it gets recognized. If it does not, contact the manufacturer to find out if it is broken.

Turn off your anti-virus program on your PC if the device works on other computers. Reinstall the drivers using the device manager as described in section 1.

Plug in the S9 to confirm the connection.

Other solutions

Check the battery level and make sure the batter is not low or depleted. A low battery will sometimes prevent the S9 from connecting. Let it charge from the power cord, if necessary.

Verify that you have at least Service Pack 1 installed. Go to the Start menu and type "Run." Press Enter.

Type "Winver" in the box and press "Enter." The Windows version will be displayed along with any installed service packs. Download a service pack from Microsoft, if applicable.

Remove the player from the USB port and push a pin into the reset hole located on the bottom. Reconnect to see if the problem is resolved.

Check the connection to make sure it's secure. The cable should fit firmly into both the S9 and the computer. Connect to a different USB port if you have one available.

Download updated firmware or use the S9 Recovery Tool provided under Resources.

Tips & Warnings

A bad cable will sometimes prevent a good connection. Use a different one to isolate the cause.

Hope it helped.

You are trying to connect your bluetooth to your computer using a USB cable? For what purpose? You can charge it that way in theory but is there something else you were trying to do?

The Headphones suffered a short, likely when you were plugging them in or off the charger. The easiest fix is to connect the headphones to your charger cable and then flicker the power...

so if you plug them into a usb charger cable to your pc, then quickly disconnect and reconnect the cable from your pc's usb port... this might not work due to the slowness of recognising the drivers.

if you have a wall charger for this unit, connect it up and then unplug it and replug it @ the wall multiple times. Or use a switched outlet/power strip to cycle the power to the charger quickly...

Worked perfectly for me!

I have a Sci Phone and it says i need GPRS Service how do i get it??

I had the same problem. If you are trying to connect to the internet try plugging in your sciphone with the USB cable to your laptop or computer. Try connecting to the internet via phone and a message will come up if you want to download. Save this. It will help configure your phone. It worked for me.

Usb connection

you should have gotten a usb cable with your phone. simply plug it into the side of your phone, and then plug the other end into either the front or back of your pc, depending on where your usb connection is. Now, turn on your phone, and a screen should pop up on your pc asking if it can install software. Then, simply solve the steps

hello Burr !! my name is M-zed. i think i hev a solution. you should try going to ur phone settings, then to "connectivity", there you will find two options : sync & usb. choose usb then you will find another two options : data fax connections & memory card. select memory card. now you can connect it again to the PC using your usb cable & you will observe that it does not ask for installation then you can find the removable disk icon on "my computer". this way you can send mp3 files to your memory card, then copy or move them to your phone.
