Question about Panasonic KX-TH112 Phone

1 Answer

I have used a Panasonic KX-TH112 in my home for 3 or 4 years.  Worked great until this morning, when the base no longer had a solid red light on the "answer on" button.  Now, the red light blinks occasionally, but mostly is off.  The base is essentially dead.  What to do?

Panasonic phone KX-TG4500 base not turning on, I have had it for 3 years and all of a sudden it died, like a battery goes off.

I could tell the base unit was about to go a few days ago. Have had the phone for years with intermittent problems but it has been for quite awhile now. However, the screen on the unit started to blink a bit a few days ago. Had a feeling it was about to go but the phone kept working until this morning when it suddenly dies. After reading that changeing the cord might work, I replace the unit power cord with one from my handset and the phone is working again! Thanks for the suggestion!

Panasonic Kx th112 sceen is dead answer light blinks red

Try swapping the AC adaptor from one of the handsets with the adaptor from the base unit. That fixed my problem.

I have a Panasonic KX-TH112. It showed an error and I disconnected it for a while. Now it will not charge at least it does nothing.

Exchange the power supply from one of the satellite handset recharge units. The power supplies are same model number. In my case the base unit would not show any power. When I exchanged it with the satellite power supply, the base worked properly and the old base power supply would actually work fine with the satellite charger. . . probably because the satellite charger has less power requirement. Also, my system had some noise in the line prior to the failure -- for about 2 weeks. This solved the noise problem as well.

Problems with handsets

Are they cordless phones? If they are they get there dial tone from the base.If there is a blinking red light on the hand sets they lost communication with the base.Check your user manual to see if you need to program them to the base.

Panasonic KX-TGA101S base not charging.

Here are a couple things you can try.

Clean the charging contacts, this can be done two ways. The manufacture's recommend using a pencil eraser. I recomend using a q-tip and some rubbing alchol. Just rub the alchol soaked q-tip on all the metal contacts on the bases and the bottom of the handset.

Gooo luck.
Hope this helps
