Voice Mail Access with No Phone Terminal

The voicemail password is typically set on your PBX or Callmanager. The phone is only a registered extension, when you enter the VM password it is simply passing those digits to your PBX for validation.

This indicates that you have voice mail waiting on your line (telco provided) or you may have voice mail provide by the unit. What you need to do is to call your voice mail box or use your voicemail button and listen to your messages. Dial your extension. Wait for the greeting to say that you are at your voice mailbox. This is also the "Quick Voice Mail Tutorial Set Up."

Follow the instructions provided in the tutorial. You will be asked to enter your name (or company name), password and greeting. Write down the password and keep it in a safe place.
Record other greetings, if needed. After the tutorial, you have an option to add different messages for different situations. Press "311" to change your general greeting. Use "312" to record a message for when the line is busy. Dial "315" to record a temporary greeting for when you are away for an extended period of time, such as vacation.

Pretty much, it depends on what happens when you dial 165. That's the voice mail access number for a Panasonic TD phone system with Pana VM. If you get the voice mail lady, set the box up and then from the intercom dial 7102/3/4/5 where 2 is all/3 is busy, 4 is no answer and 5 is busy/no answer and 165 or whatever the VM access number is and possibly # (I forget if it's required). That will light the FWD/DND light and send calls to the voice mail system.

If it's a Panasonic brand TVx voice mail, the access code is #6* and your extension. That identifies you as a user and is the same as if you dialed the voice mail system from your own phone.

If an Engineer has previously set up a Mail Box on your Voice Mail, then you need to assign a VMMSG button to that extension. this will allow access to your Voice Mail. It depends on what you mean by "can't access". The Panasonic voice mail system is accessed by dialing the VM access code, sometimes 500 or 165, from the phone you want to use. If you, for example, are extension 105, and it has a voice mail box, the lady will either tell you how many messages you have, or ask for a password. If that's how you can't access VM because you don't have a password, then the password can be reset from mailbox 999, the system administrator's mailbox.

There are two passwords YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE. If you don't know the passwords to 998 and 999, then you will have to get them from the original installer, or call your Panasonic dealer. Alternatively, if you have the VM maintenance console password, you can reset 998 and 999's password.

to access voice mail messages, u hav to contact the authorised customer care and ask for the number to access voice mail....
the number given by them is enter in ur voicemail box num...then enjoy accessing voicemail

Go back to your vendor and get the password for mailbox 999 and the instructions to log into it.

The mailbox exists or it wouldn't ask for a password (they're assigned by default), so you need to go to mailbox 999 and chose option 6 1 3 which is mailbox administration reset password. That will clear the password and you can log into the voice mail automatically from the extension by dialing the voice mail access code.

Find out who has administrator access (usually extension 100) and use that phone, call voicemail, press "more" press "MGR" press "CHBX" listen to the voicemail which will prompt/ask you if you want to delete the security code. Say yes!
