What does it mean when it says 'OUT OF BAND'when I try to put in the code?

Yes, out of band is the frequency band, or group of frequencies that can be programmed into the device. For instance, you have a GMRS radio and want to add the weather frequencies. Unless the radio specifically has weather stations installed, those two groups of frequencies (bands) are not compatible. It happens all the time. Best to ask right here what you want a radio to do and we can recommend ones with this feature. Even wireless phones have "bands", such as Sprint and Verizon, making them incompatible in most cases. I see you are programming a scanner that has ten bands. Hard to imagine a frequency not allowed, but the manufacturer is forced to block access to certain government bands and the cellular bands. While I do not agree with their policy of blocking, it is what it is.

Can't get my 21 1 ir/uhf pro remote to work with dish network dvr 625

If you are attempting to program it to tv-2 on a 625 receiver it has to be set to a odd number for example number 7 instead of 2 or 6.
The reason for this is that the 625 receiver only supports band A frequencies for UHF and on a 21.x remote odd numbers are A band and even numbers are B band.

Can the GRECOM PSR255. be used to scan for aircraft /airband frequencies

Your radio is not capable of recieving air band frequencies. It will only receive 4 bands consisting of: 26 - 54 MHz; 68 - 88 MHz; 137 - 174 MHz and 380 - 512 Mhz.

The VHF airband uses the frequencies between 108 (just above commercial FM radio) and 137 MHZ (just below 2 meter Ham radio). Amplitude Modulation ("AM") is the mode that transmissions are made. The lowest 10 MHz of the band, from 108-117.95 MHz, is split into 200 narrow-band channels of 50 kHz. These are reserved for navigational aids such as VOR beacons, and precision approach systems such as ILS localizers

Motorola H710. When I dial out the person receiving the call cannot hear me but I can hear them via earpiece. What is the problem?

KNOWING ABOUT MOTOROLLA DEVICES

Motorola devices produce effects as one way communications. For example, device gets powered on from where user selects frequency transmission. User transmits entirely until receptacle device receives messages also replaying entirely until acquired. During the entire transmission processes, each entities waits to receive messages least expecting to transmit simultaneously. Motorola device are one way methods of sending messages also was an old fashioned method compared with recent telecommunications devices. Ascertain that a frequency has been determined from where message would be transmitted. Waiting for the receiver to reply confirms that message was transmitted. Usually with Motorola devices, alternate devices from where reception is captured waits to capture an impression. In a situation that the alternate device at an elsewhere location least transmitted a reply, reset several transitions frequencies to capture an impression as distress call from any alternate device that recognizes the caller at a frequency least prior determined.

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM MOTOROLA DEVICES

Ascertain that the entity from where the message is derived has alternate methods of producing messages. For example, in a situation that the entity with the receptacle has another transitions device capable of being captured by the Motorola device makes an impression. For example, prior to calling contacts with the Motorola device, another entity that has means to transmit to the device being observed is heard. Ascertain that the device is capable of transmitting at several frequencies. A distress call from another device is captured from the device that has turned a frequency being transmitted distressfully. Ascertain that the caller is from a recognizable contact. In a situation that the caller is least recognizable least requiring any distressful condition requires to tune to frequency from where a recognizable entity can be captured for communications.

How do you program a uniden bearcat scanner bc355c

Turn on the radio
Press the "band" button
Keep pressing the "band" button until you come within the parameters of the frequency that you want
Let the radio scan until it gets close to the actual frequency that you're looking for
Press the "hold" button and use the arrow "up" or "down" button till you lock in the correct frequency
Once you have the frequency locked in, press the "program" button
Press the "private" button
The unused channel will be flashing
Press the "program" button, this locks the frequency into that channel
Continue this process until all of the frequencies are loaded into the radio

I know how to get the basic channels in my scanner, I just don't know how to get the bands...it's a 30 channel 10 band Uniden BC handheld.

Bands are nothing more than frequency ranges. For example, 108 to 137 MHZ is commonly referred to as the "Aircraft Band," and you just program individual frequencies into the scanner. Some scanners have a band monitor capability, where you push a single button to search the air band, police band, etc. This is normally done by powering the scanner ON, and pressing the desired band key (on some you may need to press MANUAL or MAN before the band key).
You didn't specify the model of your scanner, and I can't give you any more detail without it (You listed your question under the BC60XLT which is a a 10-channel scanner). If this info helps, great. If not, please get back to me with the model number and I'll go into more detail for you.

FREQUENCIES

Typically, but not always, you can hold down a specific key on the front faceplate and hold it down while turning on the power. This will usually ONLY restore the AM channels from 9Khz spacing to USA 10KHz channel spacing, but I don't think it will restore the FM band; I could be wrong - do a google search.. Usually the FM band is Japan is different than ours, and there are some expensive adapters to upconvert/downconvert US FM stations, but not worth the money to add, in my opinion you should just buy a new tuner like the Sony HD radio tuner!

I want to unblock my uniden bct7 scanner, Can anybody tell me how

The BCT-7 covers popular frequency bands, skipping things like television signals, non-voice (data) bands, and banned (cellular) bands. It cannot be modified to receive other frequencies. Need the manual for your scanner? You can download/print it here:
