Question about Logitech Quickcam Chat Webcam
Open Skype and login. Now go to Tools, and Options, now click Audio settings and try switching the microphone settings between Windows default settings and any sound card driver you might be using (I am using the RealtekHD Audio codecs, for instance) and you'll be able to see the level that both Windows audio device, and the sound card driver, is set at, and you'll see the levels bar reacting to any sound you make. If the levels are too low, then you have to go to either Windows Volume Control or the Sound Card Sound Manager and adjust the microphone settings there.
A lot of people have this problem at first run, so don't think you're alone!
