i tried what you said and it did not work. the computer said it failed to load the device. Anything else???

When you pluged it in, did you try to turn the camera on, because that is what you have to do. It takes a while, just keep trying to turn it on it takes me a while so yeah!

Ensure you have the software installed for your camera. This is available here: http://download.kodak.com/digital/software/easyShare/v8_3_0/install_easyshare.exe
Next, plug in the camera and open the "My Computer" icon/directory. The camera should now be listed there and you will be able to access it by double clicking, which will take you to the photos.
When you connect your camera to your mac, iPhoto may open up and display the photos from your camera on screen (look to see that the camera is shown in the lefthand sidebar in iPhoto). However, the photos are not stored on your computer until to click 'Import'.
After import, your photos are copied into the 'iPhoto Library' and now stored on your mac.To find them click on 'Events' or 'Photos' from the Library menu on the left sidebar.
If you are still having trouble copying your photos from your camera. Try using the 'Image Capture' app in the Applications folder to transfer photos from a camera.
I?m confused to the model of your camera since you have listed the problem under KODAK ONE, but write C813 in the problem description. However I hope it is a KODAK C813 since there is no firmware available for KODAK One.
