I have a panasonic KX-TD816 phone system and a KXTVS50 voice mail unit. Its been running fine for 4 years. Now when people call my main #, they get the proper outgoing message. When calling line #2, the get the "office is closed" message regardless of when they call. If they call line # 3, they hear the canned prompts that comes with the voice mail system say, "customer service menu" and then nothing. How does your service work? $$?

    Hi,
I have a KX-TD816 with a KX-TVS50 and recently developed a new problem. When people call my main number, they get the correct outgoing message; either closed,or lunch break, or all lines are busy customer service announcements. However, when they call line 2 they get the outgoing message that the office is closed regardless of when they call. If they dial line three, they hear, " Custom Service menu" which is part of the prerecorded voice mail prompts. I have turned off and on again both units and their time stamps are in synch.
Do you know what I should check or reprogram?

Is there a voice mail feature on this phone? Panasonic KX-T7730 Corded Phone

The phone is stupid. However, there could be a voice mail feature in the system the 7730 plugs into. Panasonic makes both internal and external voice mail systems that attach to the various KX-T systems.

How do we set up the phone system so that an outside caller can call our extension directly without having to go through reception/main unit?

There are a couple of ways. The easiest one is to use the Panasonic voice mail system which has an auto attendant built-in. It can be programmed to answer incoming calls, play a menu and let the caller dial extensions or ring the operator. If no one answers, it can take messages and provide the voice mail for the system. The TVA system has a LAN card that can send voice mail to email. It's optional in the TVA-50 and included in the 200.

Panasonic kx-t7453 corded digital super hybrid system How do I turn my voicemail box on so a caller can leave a message at my extension? thank you

Pretty much, it depends on what happens when you dial 165. That's the voice mail access number for a Panasonic TD phone system with Pana VM. If you get the voice mail lady, set the box up and then from the intercom dial 7102/3/4/5 where 2 is all/3 is busy, 4 is no answer and 5 is busy/no answer and 165 or whatever the VM access number is and possibly # (I forget if it's required). That will light the FWD/DND light and send calls to the voice mail system.

I have added a new phone to our Panasonic KX-T7030 system, I can't get it to assign a voice mail box number

Since the mail boxes are assigned in the voice mail system and a 7030 is a phone, I'd start with calling the voice mail system :-)

Mailbox 999 in a TVx system administers the system and allows you to add a mailbox.

How do i put the whole system in voicemail or night voice mail on a panasonic KX-T7433

The simple answer is you can force the PBX into night mode by dialing 782 on the main phone. However, it does requre programming, so if you don't have night ringing and voice mail defined, then it still won't work. 781 goes back to day mode.

Free instruction to record my voice kx t7730

The 7730 is a PHONE. It connects to a Panasonic PHONE SYSTEM CABINET and Panasonic VOICE MAIL SYSTEM. The voices you hear are stored in the VOICE MAIL SYSTEM and it varies by model number and installation. Typical messages are stored in CUSTOM SERVICE menus, of which there are
100.

It is changed by accessing mailbox number 998 as message manager.

Call Screening

If you have a Panasonic Voice Mail system, you can set it up in your mailbox options. Since Panasonic made/makes several voice mail systems, it's better if you know which one, but try option 4 then 1 then 2 to turn on call screening. When a user calls in and keys that mailbox, you get the lovely "record your name at the tone" prompt. Pretty friendly, huh?

Voice mail notification to cell phone

This is a phone system phone. What you are looking for would be a feature of your voice mail that is connected to the phone system. "Handsfree Speakerphone- 3-Line Back Lit display and 24-Line Keys. Compatible with KXTDA200 and KXTDA100 Systems. " Sounds like you either have a KX-TDA200 or KX-TDA100 phone system. Usually voice mail is an optional feature and has a separate part number. You could also have voice mail service through your phone service provider (like Verizon) Do you have any user guides for your voice mail or one for your phone that covers voice mail features? If not, the first step is to find out for sure what you have for a voice mail. If you have a working message waiting light on the phone it would be an in-house voice mail connected to the system.
