1. CLEAN THE LASER. ALWAYS DO THIS FIRST. MOST TIMES THIS IS ALL YOU NEED TO GET YOUR SYSTEM BACK RUNNING A 100% AGAIN

2. IF THE LASER CLEANING DON'T WORK ON YOUR PS2 SYSTEM PERFORMANCE THEN TRY ADJUSTING THE LASER VOTAGE.

3. IF THE LASER VOTAGE DON'T WORK YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE LASER $50-75 CALL FELTON (870) 733-1375 OR EMAIL ME IWHYOU@YAHOO.COM

if you are sure that your mouse and keboard are in good condittion and it is all ps2 port type the problem maybe the system driver for keyboard and mouse of your operating system, please get an extra usb port type keyboard and mouse and plugged it in to your pc and power it on the usb type keyboard and mouse may refresh the system driver and may read again your ps2 type keyboard and mouse.

Have you tried rebooting once it is connected? Not sure if it makes a difference, but I know you can not hook up PS2 peripherals without rebooting.

Hard drive not Reading CD-R Discs

First off. Your hard drive cannot read CD's. Your CD-ROM is not reading CD's. Well a few things can be wrong there. 1. The CD-ROM is dead 2. The drivers for the CD-ROM needs updating 3. The CD that you are trying to read is curropt or damaged.
Start checking to eliminate and let me know.

Read disc error tweaking dont help

common problem with all PS systems, I have had the same problem with my PS1, PS2 and the PS3 - opted me to move away from PS.

Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you other that to replace the lens, each one of my machines I had to replace.

Even feedback from sony suggested lens replacement.

Good Luck.

Keyboard not working

Just buy a USB keyboard, that should work fine, it seems your PS2 port is faulty or its disabled in BIOS check there.

My ps3 60gb has started not to play ps3 games and blue ray discs but does play ps2 games fine

A friend of mine has had a similar problem. It sounds like the drive reader for the PS3. You can either update the drive if you can or get Sony to take a look and replace it for free under warranty. It sounds like more of the driver since you can play PS2 games so get the driver looked at first. Talk to Sony Support for more info.

Hope This Helps

I cant get one of my playstation games to work on the internet but all my other ones do, and it says its because of the DMZ and NAT settings......how or wat do i do to change this?

I'm guessing you mean PlayStation 2 or PlayStation 3? And are you connecting via ethernet (Cable/DSL) or via phone line (Dial up)? Also if you have a PS2 is it slim or fat? If you have a PS3 then go to Settings-Network Settings-Internet Connection Settings. If you have a PS2 then I think you need the network software disc that came with it, but you might be able to do it from system configuration.
