Question about RCA P61940 61" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Audio problems amongst other things

I have an RCA rear projection Model#P61940 that will shut off without warning, and when powered up again needs a channel search done to reset cable channels. It also has audio problems, very tinny sounding put when I check the audio presets, all are set midrange on the scale. I have installed outboard speakers because the internal speakers are not working at all anymore.. I would like to have them working again but do not know where to start. I have a feeling that the shutoff problem is caused by overheating. Is there something I can do help in the cooling if that is the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you Joe Dwyer
