Question about Microwave Ovens
JCPenney microwave oven model #5919
Press "start," the oven operates briefly (anywhere from less than a second to several seconds, or more), then it erratically shuts down (resets, or "kicks off").
I haven't worked on one of these old models for many many years, but I do remember that when this happens, they need to have their electrolytic capacitors replaced.
Chances are the control boards are no longer available for purchase, but we repair them for customers nationwide.
Feel free to contact me directly (and please remind me of your full model number) for more information & help.
