Machine Running noisy during cycle

We have a fisher and paykel dish drawer. the top drawer has started making a whinning noise on all ccyles. on the rinse cycle at 3 mins to go it starts whinning. the machine continues to work and there are no error codes displayed at all. We've found if we pull out the second drawer it stops the noise and the maching keeps working fine? any ideas what it could be and how to fix? we've run the machine on the rinse cycle to ensure tehre's nothing stopping the arm spinning.

SOURCE: Fisher & Paykel DS605 starts cycle, stops, beeps, shows U3 error.

U3 means the tub filled to quickly or the water failed to drain. Do you have very high water pressure? are you using the wrong detergent? eg you can't use tablets (powerballs) etc in the unit. Try putting half a cup of white vinegar in the tub to kill any foam. Check there isn't anything stuck under the motor rotor inside the tub and the there's no signs of damage. Put the drain hose in a bucket and see if the water drains ok when the unit starts? If everything seems ok I'd suspect the main motor controller module but it may be worth getting an appliance tech to inspect unit first as it's hard without seeing this unit. feel free to ask any questions. Cheers

SOURCE: fisher & paykel double dish drawer top draw just beeps...

The controllers get very brittle & can break away from their housing, the reason it's rapidly beaping is because it thinks the door is open. PLEASE TURN IT OFF FIRST AT THE POWER POINT. Take the front draw panel off by pulling the plugs situated on the front behind the draws, the controller is at the top right hand side if it is loose then thats the problem, double sided tape will work but lots of it or try a wedge type arrangement. I know this is an old post but people refer to these for solutions much later.

Top half of my dish washer beeps when i push the power button

you will find this diagnostic service document useful.

The likely reason for top drawer not starting wash program when you press start button is the drawer home sensor is either faulty or the drawer is misaligned. This means controller thinks the drawer is open and does not start the cycle.

I have a Fisher Paykel DD24 dishwasher and when using top drawer after wash cycle is complete there is always water in drawer. Top drawer is unable to drain water after wash cycle is complete...what can I...

If the cycle is complete and dishes are clean, then you need to worry. Try to pull the drain hose up a bit under the sink. Also buy a Finish dishwasher cleaning kit and run dishwasher as per instructions on the kit. That should clean any obsrtuctions in the drain side.

Fisher paykel dishdrawer

It is likely the top panel of the drawer needs cleaning.
First turn off the mains power to dishwasher and take the plug out if accessible. Wait a little and put the plug back and turn on the mains power. If this does not fix the problem, then get clean damp cloth and wipe the panel buttons on top inside of drawer.

Fisher & Paykel Aquasmart washing machine makes loud banging noise then stops during rinse/spin cycles

Your Aquasmart machine requires 4 new suspension damper rods & 4 top bands, these are a common problem for AquaSmart machines.

check your kitchen drain as it might be blocked or if you have a garbage disposal (kitchen insinkerator) make sure it is cleared before running the dishwasher.

Hello, We have a Fisher & Paykel dishwasher m# dd602 znwn showing After we fixed a hole in the drain line an F1 code still appears and the pump keeps running. What should I do from here?

F1 means that your dishwashers have flooded. You can download the video in the link below to see how to get rid of the error and fix your dish drawer for numerous other problems. If your drawer is noisy you may want to replace the rotors at this time as well.

Appliance: Fisher&Paykel DD603 Draining

You may want to check up if the water collects in the bottom drawer when the top drawer is in wash cycle (ie, taking water from the inlet) or during the drain cycle when it is draining water out. Leave the bottom drawer open and check while the top drawer is running.

I HAVE A TWIN DRAWER MACHINE ABOUT 5 YEARS OLD THE TOP DRAWER IS WASHING DISHES BUT LEAVING WATER IN THE BOTTOM OF THE DRAWER WHICH I AM NOW HAVING TO EMPTY MANUALLY HOW CAN I FIX THIS PROBLEM

Have you tried running the rinse cycle to check if the water drains out?

If you are not getting any fault codes, then it might be simply a matter of cleaning the base filter plate and the sump. The user manual will tell you how to do this.

If that does not help then post a comment along with the model number of your fisher and paykel double drawer unit and I will suggest further diagnostics.
