A question often ask and much disregarded
although the tow bar weight is within limits
the load distribution bars ( torque bars -stabilizer bars --sway bars etc) not only help distribute the load but act in such a way as to stop the trailer /caravan for developing the sway that tends to make the driver loose control at speed
they also , when properly adjusted, keep the ride height of the towing vehicle level and that improves stability
remember that although the bar weight is 175 kgs that amounts to a load of 525kgs over the rear axle or extra 525 kgs on the rear tires ( mass multiplied by distance from drive axle or rear wheels assuming the distance from the axle/tires to the tow ball is i meter---heavier if the bar is further back from the tires )
to use the distribution bars lifts that weight off the rear axle and places more of the load on the trailer wheels
As a result the car / trailer combination is much safer to operate than without the bars

This is the cars and trucks section ,bathroom scales no idea try putting a know weight on them and then adjusting screw underneath to set the reading to the known weight ,thats the limit of my knowledge sorry

If you open up the hood and look down at the headlight from above you will see some longer screws on the top and on the side. by turning those you will get you adjustment.

Change air filter, oil, spark plug, cable to battery, When changing the oil, there is no need for a new filter. Just wash the old one with carb clean. Held in by 3 small bolts beside the drain plug. Check the rear end oil (90 weight) use the upper plug. Fill till it runs out. Grease the front end. Change the fuel filter. Drain the carb if it is going to sit thru the winter.

I think they're called something like 'harmonic balance'. It's a sort of balancing weight which irons out vibrations.

It shouldn't affect your steering and unless you experience vibrations, let it be..

Their are adjusting screws in the light housing.look closely & you will find them.Turn headlights on pull up to garage door adust head lights

it could be either,main bearings or rod bearings,you seem to have a handle on it,now all we can do is take bets when the big knock happens!

towable mass is 80% of the gross vehicle weight

cut it off and dont worry about it.put on a new boot clean greese.you will not notice anything with that off the axel.i have done it many times
