Question about Medion Computers & Internet
Right, this is simple, just like puting blocks in a baby toy. Just messing, if you don't know what you're doing it is hard.
Consult your dvd writer's manual for instructions on how to install the new device, it should have come with a Cd as well.
The usb 2 card, i'm assuming, is some type of bus card. AGP, PCI, PCI - E. So, here's the baby toy part. Open the computer case, after it's turned off and be sure to wear a grounding bracelet or constantly touch the metal side of the case, DO NOT touch the motherboard with a magnitized screwdriver, or your fingers unless they've been discharged on the side of the case (static is deadly to computers) (note this process may void your warrenty, as will the DVD writer)
But it sounds like it's an older computer, so i'm guessing pci slot. Locate an empty PCI slot, or whatever they all look the same, You can google the PCI slot to see what it looks like. After you locate it unscrew the screw on side that opens up to the back of the computer, unscrew it and remove the plate. I'm sure all this is in the usb card's manual as well. Then just stick the card in there ther right way, and screw it in place, wel-ah! Then you will need to get your driver cd or download the drivers from the manufactorer's website.
Have a good day,
