Well the computer activates the relay for the fans when needed.
You should be able to jumper the relay to check the fan operation.
The fans come on when the ac pressure reaches 200psi or so, not as soon as you turn the ac on.

All you do is disconnect the battery NEGATIVE cable for 5 minutes and then reconnect, over the next few miles your system will relearn idle. This will not correct any idle problems such as stalling or erratic idle, this would be caused by other problems many of which WILL NOT SET FAULT CODES.

Unhook your battery cable for ten minutes.Reconnect it and let the car idle for five minutes,then drive it normally and it might relearn to idle again at correct speed.This is just something I would try,as it can prove to be a very simple fix. don-ohio (:^)

yes you can. just back sure you torque the wheels correctly. and the light might come on but just drive it a bit and it should relearn itself. happy motoring!

The idle speed is not adjustable, it is computer (PCM) controlled, you can turn the screw for the hard stop, but the computer will just over ride that adjustment for the most part, what I think you may need to do is clean the throttle valve and the idle speed control air bypass valve, use carb spray, spray it in the intake with the engine running use the at least 1/2 the can, the engine will try to stall, keep it running, after you are done disconnect the battery for 10 minutes, reconnect and drive a few days so the computer (PCM) can relearn your driving habits and set the idle correctly based on your driving.
