USB transfer was successful once then USB lost memory campacity
I tried transferring songs from one of my itunes libraries to another via usb. It worked for the first batch of songs( i had to break them up there were too many for one transfer) and then i completely emptied the songs out of the usb and when i tried to copy the second batch of songs the USB said it didnt have enough memory, i looked at the gb and it must have lost over 95% of its memory space . What could have happened?

he Motorola razr v3i supports two kinds of music file formats: MP3 formats with bitrates of 192 Kbps and AAC formats with bitrates of 128 Kbps. Songs with lower bitrates are converted into appropriate bit rate songs before playing on the phone.
The iTunes application should be open on the computer
The phone should be connected to the computer using the USB cable such that the phone icon pops up in the iTunes application in the computer
Select PREFERENCES from the EDIT menu in the application
IN the PREFERENCE window, choose the PHONE option
Before transferring the songs, choose the option which allows for conversion of all higher bitrate songs into bitrates of 192 Kbps
Finally click OK to convert all songs into compatible formats ready for transfer
Now the songs are ready to be transferred from the desktop to the mobile phone
The songs can be transferred on to an external storage device like a memory card
First the card should be installed on the phone
Now the card should be set as the default USB connection on the phone. This can be done by going into the DEFAULT CONNECTION menu of USB settings in the CONNECTIONS menu
The phone should be connected to the computer using the USB cable and the iTunes application should be open on the computer
The application will show the phone icon on the left side of the screen
Now drag and drop an entire playlist or specific songs from the playlist onto the phone. The average transfer time for a song is 45 seconds
After all song transfers are done, the phone can be ejected by selecting the EJECT icon in the application
The phone should be ejected only after the DO NOT DISCONNECT message disappears from the screen of the phone
Now the songs appear in the iTunes digital jukebox on the phone where songs are stored under SONGS menu and playlists under the PLAYLIST menu
Please note that the Bluetooth connection cannot be used to transfer music between the phone and the computer

You need to create a playlist for the iPhone. This isn't intuitive and I don't know why it's this way. It works great, there just isn't anything explaining what to do. This seems to snag Windows users the most. Maybe Mac users are already used to doing things this way? I don't know.
Below is a picture of my iTunes. Look down in the lower-left corner and see that my playlist is highlighted. At the very bottom-left corner you can click the plus sign to create a new playlist. Then drag all of the music you want to the playlist. Finally, in the music tab of your iPhone, make sure you click the playlist you just made to sync all music on that list to your phone.
