I can't use the program

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. get the key from their website. or click on install now on the package

Open "My Computer".
Double-click the icon for the CD-drive.
Look for that 'ppchild' file.
Or, look for an 'setup' file or an 'install' file.
Double-click one of those files, to restart the installer.

If it still fails, then your new computer (running Windows 7) probably has recognized that the program is _NOT_ compatible with Windows 7. So, start the Windows "Program Compatibility Wizard", and tell it that you want to install a Windows XP program on your new computer.

The CD Burner drive is compatible with your Windows XP the software version is where the problem is. You need to get an updated version of the burner program, something like Nero burning ROM or Roxie EZ CD creator.

Maybe your CD/DVD drive is a old drive :O( , for the new cd´s/DVD´s on the marked today actually many times you need a new drive for read them. Try first if you can install with the dll found on the link below.

Ohter solutions:
1: get a external drive(not to old) and try install it with that
2: copy the cd to a usb storage on a computer thats have a new cd/dvd drive, use the usb storage to install it on your computer, use the dll file from the link.
Hope this can resolve the problem.

Whenever you install a new program, make sure you turn the computer off and then restart it. If this doesn't help, then re-install the program.

I found this on an Amazon review. I hope it works for you:

1) Install the software on the CD (although the application won't open just yet)
2) Plug in the usb cable into the pc and the keychain and wait a minute (nothing happened here for me)
3) Unplug the cable that goes into the keychain, and then plug it back in. On the keychain screen, an option menu should come up that allows you to select either to power the keychain or to update the keychain via usb. Select the update option. (Note that drivers might install before this or maybe it found the driver I downloaded at the coby website?)
4) Now that you have selected the update option, you can now open the program that was installed off of the cd. Select the pictures you want, move them over, and then download them to the keychain.

I have had a similar problem that appeared soon after an automatic HP software update over the internet. I solved the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the HP software that came with the CD. I inserted the CD and ran the de-install for only the program that controlled print and scan and then re-installed the software for print and scan. Straight afterwards, the scanning started to work again

I had the same problem after a previous bad installation of Nero.
I solved it by completely removing that installation.
Check that these folders are deleted:
\program files\Ahead\Nero
and more important:
\program files\common files\Nero

Then clean your registry and re-install
