I have a Whirlpool Accubake oven (SF362LXSS0) that doesn't seem to be consistently turning on, and the problem's getting worse. ... burner wont stay light

Normally the grill is completely separate to the oven. Press the ignitor before you turn on the grill, as, to ignite, oxygen needs to be present (ie: not flooded with gas) . and you should be able to see the spark from the ignitor in the grill. if you can't, then you may have problems with your ignition pack or ignition leads.

What do you mean that it wont stay on? Does it turn off and on during cooking? Does it just go off and wont come back on? The oven thermostat regulates the heat in the oven and the oven element and the oven indicator light will turn off and on during cooking. If it stayed on constantly on full oven element power everything would burn.

The ignitor is not working right and is going bad....
have the repair man replace the ignitor, or DIY....

yes there should be a screw to turn near gas control knob at front there is one for each burner and the oven
