Question about Audiovox SMP3338 (512MB) MP3 Player

Similar make, Venturer SMP3-338 1GB, won't store tracks in order

I received a Venturer SMP3-338 for Christmas 2006 and is working fine. I know this is an American site, but this was bought in Asda (UK version of Wal-Mart). It can play the songs well and clearly and is easy to upload songs onto it. My recent album uploads have turned out to be in the wrong order (the tracks) on the player, but when I plug it in to the computer to correct this the tracks are in the correct order. I name the tracks '01 *Name of song*' so this should put them in the correct order. Does any one have any help to correct this problem, bearing in mind I'm not too great when it comes to technical terminology?

You can find help by contacting Venturer in Europe. You can either email them, or call them, at 0845 307 5537* 1pm - 9pm Mon-Fri... *0845 numbers are charged at local rate, 01302 is charged at national rate (accessed from UK only)

My daughters ipod touch has a locked icon on th top in the middle of the screen and I can not slide the bar, what has happended & how do I fix it? This is a second hand 8gb ipod touch that was working...

I have had a similar problem that you listed before.
What your daughter's iPod is experiencing is a broken touch sensor on the screen. She must have either dropped it, or accidentally smacked it into something hard. This will cause the touch sensor to break.
There are only two options left to resolve the problem: 1. Go to the Apple Store and pay them a fee to fix the device.
2. If you are looking to buy a new iPod, give the Apple Store your old one and they will give you 10% off.

I plugged in my ativa mobil IT and it doesn't power on. (PT15)

I received one as a gift. Couldn't get it to work either. Returned to store for a replacement three times. Same problem. Store couldn't get them to work either. Suggestion: buy another brand.

Want to download audio book on CD to my MP3 player

I had this jumbled up problem as it wasn't splitting up the tracks ie I had 6 track ones lined up together which put the chapters out of sync.
The trick is to load each CD individually and immediately 'rename' each ie name of book, genre, CD1, CD2 etc.
Then you can drag and drop into the MP3 player and they will be in the correct order.
Worked for me anyway.

Yow! I can't believe it. It's been six weeks and nobody knows how to get tracks to load in numerical order! Is it that the answer is so simple that no one wants to share it or is it so technical that no one knows how?

I want tracks from alphabetical to album order...

Try renaming the tracks on your PC with a two digit track number at the beginning of the title, e.g 01 - Track name.

Re-load the tracks on to your player and use the album list to play them.
