The schematics of this radio are not posted online anywhere to my knowledge. However, I can tell you how to remove the radio from the housing.

First, carefully remove the battery tray by slipping a screwdriver or car key into the slot at the bottom of the battery area. Gently pry up. This will remove the battery frame.

Then, either use a Motorola frame removal tool, or substitute 2 small screwdrivers. Slipping the device under the tabs in the side channels to release the little ears which hold the component board in the housing. (This are about 1/2 way up inside the radio, on both sides. You will see they slide in a channel or groove.)

Once you have gently moved the "ears" inward, you will be able to push on your small screwdrivers (or frame removal tool) and slide the component board out the top of the radio.

At this point you will have access to the accessory jack.

Sidenote: If you want to forego the above, you can simply send the radio in for a flat rate repair, which is approx. $69 at most servicers, during which time the accessory jack would be replaced.

Motorola Ms350 talk about that has no sound

Check your programming. The radio may simply be on a different frequency and/or interference eliminator code than the other units. Also check your audio jack to be certain nothing is plugged or stuck in the jack. The radio is sensitive to a device being plugged in the jack, and when something is plugged in, it turns off the speaker to the radio.

Best regards.

Trying to program sp21 to a sp10

If your SP21 and SP10 are both either VHF or UHF, it is possible to program them to match one another.

The SP10 is limited to 16 available channels, programmable by 4 dip switches behind the battery compartment of the radio. Great care must be used in removing the entire battery tray to get to the dip switches. Many times we see radios which have damaged mylar battery leads when someone attempts to get to the dip switches by removing the thin plastic/copper liner behind the battery. DO NOT remove this piece. It will come out with the battery tray. The tray is somewhat of a picture frame which holds the battery in place. In the SP10 radio it is removeable by slipping a small screwdriver or thin car key in the slot at the bottom of the radio and gently prying up. This will begin to dislodge the tray and you can pick it up and pull it out of the radio. (The upper battery contacts near the center of the radio will remain with the radio. The bottom battery contacts, if any, will come out with the tray.) At this point you should be able to see the 4 dip switches. The four most common VHF settings are:

Your preference on these should be limited to green and blue dot, as they are license-free, and are the only wideband frequencies still okay to use after Jan. 1, 2013, when the narrowband change takes place.

If your SP10 is UHF, or has 8 additional dip switches in the lower left below the main component board, you have PL. It would be best if you call someone who can help you with programming, as it is too lengthy to type more about this here.

The SP21 is PTT programmable. You hold in the PTT button while turning the radio on, and it will announce its frequency, press the monitor button once, and it will both lock in your frequency setting and announce the PL code setting. Either of these is changeable by pressing the PTT, followed by pressing the monitor button to lock in the new setting.

The primary VHF settings for the SP21 are as follows:
Freq 1 = Red dot
Freq 2 = Purple dot
Freq 3 = Blue dot
Freq 5 = Green dot

Once again, your preference, if you are VHF, should be toward Blue and Green dot frequencies.

Best regards.

I have an Acer Aspire One and when I plug the charger in I have to spin it or wiggle it or both to get the battery to charge. Once I have it in position it generally stays on charge, but if the cable is...

It could be either one Sarah.

The AC adapter's (Charger) cable, or the DC Power Jack where the AC adapter plugs into the laptop.

This is an example of the DC Power Jack not installed,

(You can click on the three views of the jack to enlarge)

1) Check the DC Power Jack to see if it's in good repair.

Battery removed use a small flat tipped screwdriver, and Gently see if you can move the Center Pin around in the jack.
See if the Center Pin will move side to side a small amount. There is supposed to be No perceptible movement.

Referring back to the closeup photos of the DC Power Jack, the flat blade-like prongs are upside down, in relation to how the jack sits on the motherboard.

The flat prongs go down through the motherboard, and are soldered to the motherboard.
If the center pin of the jack is stationary, but the jack as a unit moves around, one or more solder joints, (Connections) for the flat prongs may be cracked.

The repair consists of completely disassembling the laptop, removing the broken DC Power Jack, and installing a new one.

Acer Aspire One service manual,

(Click on the blue - One - in Aspire One.
This is a PDF file. The computer you are using now has Adobe Reader on it which uses PDF files.
After you click on the file name (One) it may take up to 30 seconds before you see the first page.
It may also take additional time for the file to fully download.

(Took 12 seconds just now for full download)

No perceptible movement of the DC Power Jack? Suspect the cable of the AC adapter right near it's plug. (Plug that plugs into the DC Power Jack)

Looking for a 21" antenna for a Motorola SP10

There are custom made antennas for portables. But the better solution is by eradiostore, use a mag mount.1) custom portable antenna, expensive.2) Motorola adaptor to BNC to longer antenna (portable, car type or base station).
3) NO power increase, not only are those frequencies designed for low power the board inside the radio cannot handle the heat and is not changeable or adjustable.

How do you recharge a Motorola sp10 I need to know how to recharge it. I lost the manual.

There are three methods of charging the HNN9044 battery used in an SP10 radio:
1) Use the HTN8232 10-hour wall charger. It plugs into a jack under the flap on the side of the radio (opposite side from the PTT button).
2) Use the drop-in style charger by setting the radio in the charger (this works if your radio has silver battery contact showing on the bottom.)
3) Use the drop-in charger to charge the battery alone. (The battery will set in the charge crossways to the way a radio would set.)

Lastly, if your battery will not charge by one of the above methods it might need replaced.

Best regards.

T5410 I press MON key and it doent make sounds

It sounds as though you have a broken speaker. Do you have a head phone/earphone jack on the unit. That would be a good test.
If it does have an earphone jack, they have been known to get trash in the jack, that in turn breaks the circuit to the speaker.

2001 Saturn, need a Serpentine belt diagram

get a floor jack and a small block of wood. place the floor jack under the oil pan. jack up the jack until you feel it on the oil pan. remove the engine mount. you will need a deep 15mm socket and a 6inch extension. the mount has 4 bolts. remove it. then jack the engine up with the floor jack until the power steering reservoir almost touches the cowl. now take a long 14mm wrench and place that on the bolt head on the belt tensioner. pull the wrench until the belt slacks up. remove the belt. Installation opposite of removal. Here is a belt diagram. I hope this helps!! If you have any problems or questions e-mail me at:

Need to replace DVE AC Adapter

If your desk charger is the version that can accommodate 2 units for simultaneous charging, any wall adapter would do as long as it is rated at 9VAC @ 450mA or higher. Since most wall adapters are DC output, you need to open it and remove the diode(s) and capacitor and connect the output of the secondary straight to the wires. Additionally, you need to get one whose plug will match the jack of the desk charger.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
