First tell how old is your UPS ?
if its older by two to three years may be the Battery eeds a replacement .Try charging the battery externally with a good battery chargers but before charging externally please take out the battery outside.
Then if the battery shows very low voltage even after charging for some 8 hours then you have one alternative that is replace with new battery.and promptly keep it under charge with out fail.

chances are your battery is toaste, most are lythium ion bateries. oncve the charge is brought down so far, the battery will not have enouph power to transmit a signal to the charger to tell it that it is conected and to charge. i personaly hate buying batteries. there is a fix but its for sure. iff you cna find another battery, (normal battery like a 9volt or a aa,aaa,c, or D cell,) you can can manualy transfer power to the lythium batery to give it enouph charge toi register that it is there to the charger. try taking the positive side of the good battery and ,with a small wire, conecting it to the negitive side of the dead battery, and fron the negitive side of the good battery to the positive side if the cell battery, for about 30 sec,. then place the cell battery back in the phone and see iff it will charge...im assuming you have completly dried and ventalated your phone....good luck!

You need to confirm if the battery is good or bad, please check for the voltage on the battery and if possible the current factor remaining . now connect the adapter and check the voltage on the terminals of the phone , if there is no sufficient voltage the fault can be with the adapter. If adapter is checked to be good with another phone , then the main board can be faulty.
Other wise check your battery on another phone to confirm.

First thing you do to power your laptop on again try removing the battery and the charger complitly leave it for 10 sec without power then press the on off switch for 2 or 3 times without puting the power or batery later try not to put the battery and put only the power adapter and start your laptop dose it starts if yes good shut it down and put the batery in and start the laptop if its starting and leave it running for cuppul of hours and then again remove the power adapter and let it run the system with batery power if it stays on and fine you are ok and fine there was just a power dump but if it fails in any case like fails to boot with power adapter and so you have adapter issue need to be checked if dosent work with batery it self its a batery issue and needs replacement .
regarding the keyboard issue you can open the kay board and clean it with contact spray if posible.

the sony ericson does that all the time, when it low batery it shutdown unlike nokia it shows empty battery. that normal for sony ericson. beter you have a spear battery.

I had the same problem with my Jamin so sent if off to the technician who informed me the Jarmin's internal circuitry prevents the phone being charged when the battery is under a certain voltage so when you use a plug in charger because the battery has very low power it does not trip a circuit in the Jamin to start the charging process. The only solution to to take the battery out of the unit and charge it with a stand-a-lone charger. Hope this makes sense.
