I recently got this system second hand from family and when I set it up I noticed that when I watch TV the sound does not come out of the speakers only the TV. Also when I hook the positive speaker wires up to rear right left and subwoofer no sound comes out of them. If I connect them to the right sides sound comes out. I read in previous posts that I should reset the system but I do not have a users manual for it and have NO idea how to do this. Help would be appreciated

When you pull the crown (winder) , you will notice it has two positions (two clicks). The first click is for quick date setting, the second click is for time setting (moving hands). Second click can be use for date setting as well, but for this you need to move watch hands forward for 24 hours to pass 12 o'clock.
It sounds like one of the hands is pausing as it brushes against something. It sounds like a treasured watch. I would take it to a professional watch repair shop. Mine was losing a minute or two per hour from the hand being slightly bent. Good luck!
Since you didnt tell me what KIND of watch it is I am giving you a general instructions.
Wait until the second hand is at zero (the top of the dial). Then pull the crown knob out as far as it will go to set the time on your watch. Turn the knob in either direction and look at the three additional hands on the time dials of your watch: the minute hand, the hour hand and the 24-hour hand.
Stop turning the knob when all minute and hour hands are pointing to the correct time. Pay special attention to the 24-hour hand so that you have a.m. or p.m. correct.
Push the knob back in exactly when a new minute is starting so that your second hand will be correct. Use another clock you know to be accurate as a reference, such as the government clock available online.
Pull the knob out halfway so you can set the date. Turn it counterclockwise until you notice the date on the watch changing. Stop it and push the knob back in to its starting position once you reach the correct one. Try to set the date before 9 p.m. If you set it after that time, it may not register with your watch that it should switch the date at midnight. If this happens with your watch, just fix it the next day.
Set the chronograph, or big dial, on your watch. It works like a stopwatch to let you time activities for up to one hour. Push the top button on the side of your watch to start it. Push it again to stop it. Push the bottom button on the side of your watch to reset it.
It would certainly help if next time you let us know what kind of watch it is you have, Best of luck.
You need just one cable that goes from your TV to your HT system.
On your TV you should see an RCA jack for "AUDIO OUT" and you need to plug that into your AUXILLARY "AUDIO IN" on your HT system
When you are watching TV and you want the sound to come through the HT system, just set the HT system to "AUX" mode. Most Samsung systems will have 3 'AUX' modes, set the remote on 'AUX 1' then wait a few seconds, if no sound comes through then set it on "AUX 2" wait a few seconds and if it doean't work try AUX 3.
Hope that helps.
It sounds to me as it is a quartz chronograph and it is right that the centre seconds hand moves only if the pushbutton is pressed. If you look close enough, you will notice that the small subdial finger is ticking and counting seconds. It is recommended to replace battery, as sometimes watches been laying in stores for a few years before selling and the battery is flat or underpowered.
