Hi there. I'm a certified Canon repair tech and what you will need to do is go to Canons website and get the 1-800 number for the nearest repair center. They will need to replace the waste ink absorber kit on the bottom of your printer. This will cost you anywhere from $50 and up depending on where you take it. It should only take the repair center an hour to replace it provided the yhave the kit there to put it in.

The ink absorber is usually a pad that lays on the bottom of the printer. The printer will more then likely need to be taken into a repair center for them to change out the pad. You more then likely will have to call canon for the nearest repair center. Its not to hard to change out the pad if you can get ahold of a new one and the instructions to dismantle the printer.

You need to call 1-800-828-4040, that is Canon and they can tell you where the nearest repair center is.

You will need to take this into a repair center for them to replace the waste ink absorber. Contact Canon for the nearest repair center.

hi im josh in cebu phils. friend try to go printer settings then click cancel all documents printing then reboot your pc.if still occurs try to reinstall the driver software.thats all for now good luck friend.

hi i am a certified Canon tech for this machine. the only thing that you can do is yank it out with force the worst that is going to happen is the ink chip connector prongs could break but they might already be broken or bent. in this case you will need to find a Canon repair center by calling 1-800-OK-Canon or by looking on their website Canon repair centers are world wide and privately owned. if the unit is less then 1 year old just find a repair center and have it fixed otherwise try forcing the cartride out and hope for the best.
