Question about Creative Labs Creative Webcam
I have bought a creative webcam (note book pro) from my Asus Eee PC (900ALinux). the webcam was sold with windows software / drivers. where does one get linux drivers for the webcam?
Open the terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install gspca
or look in the Synaptic Install Window for gspca, it should load the dependencies automatically. It's in the main repository so it'll definitely be on the list. :)
The modules are:
gspca_main main driver
gspca_xxxx subdriver module with xxxx as follows
The sound will work in Ubuntu but much worse than Xandros:
Hope this helps
