Question about Direct Sound Audio Players & Recorders
I have a SB Audigy. last week the sound started to become unstable. It suddenly goes up then goes down. I don't know if this happened because I tried to reinstall my Creative Webcam with microphone (Live!Cam). I tried to reinstall because the mike doesn't work. The only thing I could find is that when I do the Creative diagnostic it tells me DirectSound has a problem.
I would appreciate your help. Thanks very much.
PS wishing you all the best for Christmas and the New Year

Congrats, you yourself is a good troubleshooter. Just pinpointed your problem. What you just diagnoist can be easilly checked just by taking other good known speaker. If that works your speaker is short check for audio output wires. If not your card needs replacement. If need further clarifications just comment.
