Question about Foxconn 975X7AB-8EKRS2H Motherboard
Hi Binny2, this sounds like a power issue & not a possible graphics card issue.
You can try a couple of things.
Use only one DIMM of memory, not both at first. Try booting system, check for display & POST beep………. No?
Clear your cmos, see page 23 in manual.
Next, see page 17 in your manual for, 8-pin ATX_12V Power Connector for CPU: "PWR2".
(Also see: “Note” at bottom of page 17). This MB needs both 8-pin ATX 12v connectors, connected. It is not recommended to drop down to a 4-pin 12v connection as shown on page 17.
You may need one or two of these power connectors:
Good luck Binny2!
Still no system beep?
Let me know. What size is your current power supply wattage?
