Mr. Coffee TFTX85 Coffee Maker

I don't know how this happened, but the on button doesn't work - it is stuck and won't move. The only way I can brew coffee is to set the delay brew to the current time plus a minute or two. Any ideas?

I despise the TFTX85!!! It will overflow, it will stop working! It will never tell you the correct time! It is evil in a coffeemaker. Check out our problems with this piece of junk at pisymphony.com ( opinions)

How can I turn of the delay system? I just want to be able to brew coffee as needed without the delay system.

When you have set the size mug or carafe you need to mix ahead, setting the Delay Brew is as simple as hitting the "Deferral Brew" button, tap the "H" button the hour and the "M" button to the moment, click which blend you'd like (Classic, Rick, Over-Ice, or Specialty) and afterward hit the "Delay Brew" button once more. Your Ninja will give a little beep to tell you it has you secured and voila! Your morning espresso is prepared!

Delay button stuck on coffee will not brew

Bummer. Pray that this is not a board level (electronic) failure. If you are mechanically inclined and patient, try to disassemble the cover or assembly holding the switch. Hopefully there is a mechanical reason, like a jam or blockage, preventing the switch from working properly. Otherwise, I hope you're under warranty. Good luck.

I have a Mr. Coffee, Model JWX20 with no instructions. I would like to set it so that it will come on in the morning and brew coffee before I wake up. I can't find a manual. Does anyone know how...

Set the Clock: 1. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet . The clock will flash on the control panel to indicate that the time has not been set yet. 2. Press and hold the HOUR and MINUTE buttons until you reach the current time. The AM or PM indicator will light a t the bottom of the display The clock is now set! NOTE: Pressing any button before setting the clock will cause the clock to start keeping time from 12:00 a.m. You must set the clock if you want to use the Delay Brew feature. To Set the Delay Brew Time: *While the display is in the clock mode, simply press the SET DELAY button and, while the DELAY BREW time is flashing, set the brew time by pressing the HOUR and MINUTE but tons. *The AM or PM indicator will light at the bottom of the clock display. *Within a few seconds the display will change to the current time. All I need is the manual to my Mr.Coffee Pot how to set the timer to Mr. Coffee GBX23.

First set the clock on the brewer with the unit plugged in. Press and hold the Hour and Minute buttons until the current time is set. Next press the Delay Brew button while using the Hour and Minute buttons to reach the time you want the coffee to begin brewing.

Set up the coffee maker with ground coffee or beans and sufficient water in the reservoir then follow the directions below.

For brewing with fresh ground beans, press and hold the Delay Brew button until it flashes then press Select once. The Grind and Brew light should come on and the Delay Brew light should become steady.

For ground coffee, press and hold the Delay Brew button and then press Select twice. The Brew Only light and the Delay Brew light should both be on and steady.

Most Mr. Coffee product manuals are here: http://www.mrcoffee.com/InstructionManuals.aspx . The direct link to the GBX23 manual is http://www.mrcoffee.com/Manuals/MANUALS/GBX23_43_50118420.PDF .

I hope this helps.

My machine wont give me much water into the brewgroup tried another brewgroup and it is the same . Iyt takes about a minute to put thru one shot of coffee and we only get about 10mm of expresso in the cup...

Hi
If you push the scoop but don't put any coffee in the brew group, what happens? If it brews right (water comes out), then I would suspect that your coffee is too fine. Push the lever below the grinder on the right to the back (#7) and then try to brew again. Don't let it go all the way. Push the coffee button as soon as it starts to brew. Do this 3 times. The 4th time let it go and see if it will brew. If it doesn't I would need more information.

Set brew delay

Assuming you're talking about the FT series with the "delay brew" button and the 24 hour analog as opposed to digital clock, it's simple.

First, you have to have your correct time set. This is simple just press the hour button and then the minute button until the correct time is showing. Be sure to look for the AM PM indicator to make sure you're getting the desired time set.

Then press the delay brew button and use the same hour and minute buttons until you get the desired time (again watch for am/pm)

That's it.
