Hi I have a new Psp 3000 with an 8 GB pro2 duo memory card and just bought this classic game Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire. When I start the game, i says "it is recommended that you have a Memory Stick inserted so that you xan save your progress during game" the momen i press 'accept button, it says 'the memory stick is currently being accessed' and just doesnt go on no matter how long. If i remove the card , it works but doesnt save the game progress.. Please Help
I had the EXACT same problem....it would go no further that that looking for memory card screen....apparently the game will not accept that big of card....install the standard 128 or 256 mb card and the game will run normally...it worked for me...Good Luck :)

PSP 3000 is a Japanese PSP. PSP 3001 is the U.S. model PSP 3004 is a european model
All of the above are the same PSP, different regions. The PSP3000 allows you to play UMD movies & games, allows the use of Memory Stick Duo which also work in Sony cameras and camcorders but none have internal memory.
The PSPGO has internal memory but it does *not* use UMD discs at all! It also does not use memory stick duos as the PSP 3000 does. It's not very comfortable to play games either -- I hear it was created to compete against the i-touch but it is NOT touch screen.
Stick to the PSP-3000. It's cheaper and does more.
hi is it just the one movie that wont play or have you tried music and game saves? a few things to check 1 is the memory card showing magic gate supported 2 check if the card shows 15.?gb with nothing on it 3 try loading the card with 15gb of music and pictures
i bought a 16gb pro duo memory card from ebay that was a 4gb card showing in the psp as 15.4gb but corrupted every thing after 4gb. if you also find that the card is only taking between 4-8gb of data contact ebay as this is likely a fake card.
