Question about Logitech QuickCam Chat Personal Web Camera
I am trying to instal Logitech QuickCam S5500 on my mac which is running OSX 10.3.9. Can anyone please help me by guiding me through what I need to do. I bought it because I was advised that it would work on a mac even thought the packaging says it was an application for Windows.
In order to use this model under a mac OS you will need a software called macam, find the list of compatible devices here: http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/cameras/index.php
The download link here: http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/downloads.html
Please note that this model has been designed for a windows environnement and macam might not provide the full functionality of your device.
Thanks and have a nice day J -

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
