Question about Iomega MiniMax Desktop - Hard drive - 500 GB - external - Hi-Speed USB - 7200 rpm - buffe
Hi, I've recently had the power supply to my minimax hard disk stolen, and i'm trying to replace it. It seems iomega now ship a newer generation of the HD which uses a different power supply connection as the (slightly older) generation i have. My HD was bought about 8 months ago. I can't get in touch directly with iomega (they seem to be very hard to contact!). I need to know what the specification is of this older power supply (with several pins in), so i can find it somewhere else - or find shop that can sell me one of the older generation minimax hard disks. Hope that makes sense!

They make chains with locks that screw to a secure surface. (floor, wall, desk, specially made etc.) You then hook you hard drive to the secure lock and someone can't easily pilfer it. Hope that helps, Tim

SOURCE: i have an iomega minimax
try getting a new power cord from iomega, If that doesn;t work, the drive is probably corrupted. They are under a year warranty. You ship yours to them and they will send you a new one. Try the free chat on Iomega
