To set up the L350 as a local printer (I'm assuming that you are not putting it on a network) you will need the Canon FAX-L350 CD-Rom which contains the Fax suite (I have version 3.11). You will also need a parallel printer cable as the fax machine only has a parallel printer port on the rear (the other side to the power cable.

When loading up the CD-Rom (which should have been supplied with your machine - if not you may have to buy one off the web), first make sure you read chapter 2 in the manuals folder on screen then install the driver from the 'program setup.exe' file.

After loading the CD-Rom onto your PC (and before making any physical connections between the PC and the Fax) make sure that the fax is switched off at the mains and also logout and switch off your PC. Next, connect up the cable (Canon recommend a cable that complies with IEEE1284). Centronics supply these cables, but if you do not have a parallel (8 bit ) port on your PC you can get a converter cable (Centronics 36) which will connect the parallel cable to a USB port on the rear of your PC. After checking the connections you can switch your fax back on and also power up your PC. Hope this helps.

Canon Fax-L350 display check printer Alarm red "could

Open the main cover. Look into the body of the machine. The covers top left corner has a projection that when the lid is closed this projection passes through a hole in the main body and hits a micro switch to say the cover is closed. the switch has stuck. Poke a thin screwdriver (power off of course) and watch the switch pop back into its right position. All will be well. A well known fault of this model.

Where i can finde driver canon l 350

Hello.

Here is the link. But there is only a driver for Windows 2000 or earlier operating system available.

Choose operating system Windows 2000 (or another) and English and select Submit.

http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0000502.asp

This may not give you what you want, but I hope it solves the problem about use of your L350.
