What about that and very frequent crashes at start up?
I usually have to restart a second time and then everything works well. Why

How do I stop screen flickering

If this occurs within a specific application, it probably has to do with the fact that the application wasn't programmed for double buffering. If your screen is constantly flickering no matter what, it could be bad video drivers. Try updating them. If that fails, it's probably either bad hardware. Try a different video card. If it still persists, it's a bad monitor.

Window ask for Permission: UAC Permission (User Account Control)

Applicable for all Window Vista

Any Edition

32-bit & 64-bit

General Information: UAC in windows vista a new security feature. But generally this has nothing to do with security. It is only requesting you if you want to allow any changes or not.

Changes such as Installation or removal of program, etc.

Main Effect: Window activities delays, Screen become flickering and Flashing.

It is advisable to keep this feature off as you will have to keep on unblocking every time. It is absolutely safe to turn it off.

How to Turn it Off?

Please go to the Control Panel. Click on User Accounts (Select the Classic view, if not selected)

Then please 'Turn User Account Control on or off'
(You may need to press Continue)

Please then uncheck

'Use Account Control (UAC) to Help Protect your Computer'

This is only required to stop the delay and flickering of screen.

While i installing vista transformation pack 9.1 an error comes that "scrdr.exe" in use & option comes abort, retry, ignore what to do?

Go to Start->Run

Type msconfig

Go to the startup tab. Find that particular file it's looking for an uncheck it. See if that helps.

If it continues, it is probably in your registry. You'll have to find the key in your registry ("regedit" in the run menu.)

Here are the registry keys:

* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Win... Hidden value:
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Win... DisableTaskMgr value:
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Win... DisableRegistryTools value:
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Windows X\Vista Transformation Pack ResolutionBPP 32
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Windows X\Vista Transformation Pack ResolutionX 1024
* HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Windows X\Vista Transformation Pack ResolutionY 768

Windows Vista BSOD

So many computer face this blue screen fetal errors on windows.

This error comes usually when there is problem in software or driver compatibility issue with hardware or operating system.
Also this error comes when there is bed indexing unit in hard drive.
You can solve this errors with following 2 methods.
(1)When you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.
Then if you are able to enter in safe mode then uninstall driver or software which you installed recently and face this error.
(2)If you are not able to enter in safe mode Then you need to fix error on hard drive.For that you need windows disk or recovery disk.
Boot your computer with that disk
For that when you power up the computer press F1 or F2 "del" key to enter in bios.
Then go to boot menu and set first boot device as your cd or dvd rom.
Then save settings and exit bios.
Insert windows disk in cd /dvd rom.
Then it boot with that disk.Then you get this message "Press any key to boot from cd.."
Then press any key.
Then follow the procedure then enter in recovery console mode then type in prompt "chkdsk /r"
Then type "y"
Then it fix error on hard drive.
Then check if again you are not able to enter in windows then boot again and this time choose "R" option for repair previous windows " then it repairs old windows then it loads again old windows.
