Question about Smeg A42-5 Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range
this may be a long shot but I was hoping you may be able to help me.
I own a Smeg Cooker and the grill element keeps coming loose.
The screw holding it in place keeps falling out.
Every time I attempt to put it back there doesn't appear to be anything for it to screw into.
No thread at least.
It just turns in the hole in the roof.
Am I missing something?
Thanks for any assistance
There may have been a nut welded in the roof that has worked itself loose,or more likely you have stripped the thread.
try using a self-tapping screw to hold it in place
