Question about Western Digital My Book Essential Edition (WDG1U5000N) 500 GB Hard Drive
IN WESTERN DIGITAL MY BOOK ESSENTIAL 320GB HDD EXTERNAL,
I PURCHASED 500 GB HDD SATA, AND TRIED TO FIX IT IN 320 GB OF MY BOOK ESSENTIAL,, ALL WORKING FINE .
BUT WHILE CONNECTING IN WINXP, ITS ASKING FOR DRIVER.
ITS NOT THE RAID DRIVER , BUT THE USB BOARD DRIVER IN HDD.
IF I GET D BOARD DRIVER I CAN MAKE 320 GB IN 500 GB..
PLZ HELP ME WITH THIS..
THE BOARD MODEL IS GALAXY
Yes. The case doesn't care what size the drive is. The computer is just asking for the USB driver for the case. Check the WD site for the driver for the model of MyBook that you have. That should cover it.
