Re: I can't hear a sound
Go to the computer manufacturer's website and see if it allows you to look up your computer by serial number. if so, then it should tell you what kind of soundcard you have and prolly also have the correct drivers available to install. once you have installed the correct drivers, the soundcard will no longer be unrecognized and should work.

first you find the sound chip on *********** board.On your audio chip have a number like cmi98xx.Then find your audio chip number and find the drivers for win.7.If can't find the drivers for win.7 search the drivers for win.xp.Then download the drivers and extract it by using win rar.After that go to device manager and update you audio drivers by using extracted files.
hi im josh in cebu phils. it is very simple frnd. you try to install windoxs xp sp2 or sp3 so that you will not need to install driver for sound. or just get an update of your xp professional. good luck!
hi check that your sound driver is properly install, when you install the sound driver its giving error if yes, then you have to send your motherboard to service center for repairing or buy sound card from computer stores fix it and sound driver
