Unable to find the Acer Display card driver

I don't have the driver of Acer Display card dirver. I ties to find this in the internet but I don"t get. Dispcription of my display driver is Acer ATI 3 D rage LT Pro 8 MB Graphic Card.

Try the AMD/ATI website. They may have drivers for that in their support section. Hope this helps.

    Unless you purchase 3rd party software like driver detective ATI may be the only place that may still have this driver. This is a very old card & I'm not even sure the manufacturer would still support with updates & drivers. Thanks for the terrible rating even though I gave you the only possible answer to your question.

1st you should disable your onboard display card from the BIOS setup. Then Your PCI Card will show display.

Here is NVidia download page, select model (series 8) and follow instructions to download driver.

Alternatively try the driver here
(previous release).

Display driver missing


If your OS is XP SP2, you can un install the Graphics card via device manager and on re boot let Windows new found hardware wizard pick it up and it should set up your Card itself, as the CD's drivers are probably not the latest XP SP2 compatible driver.

You could also go to the Graphics card's Manufacturer's Support site and download the latest XP compatible driver, or whatever OS's driver you require.

No post (blank screen) after intial driver install Acer 1716 LCD monitor


Please clarify something for me, after installing drivers, system reboots, and you have no POST information or startup screens at all?
