Iwant to buy a filter for my Healthway EMF 20600-2 Air Purifier

keep the machine running it must have gotten something stuck in the main filter or call healthway and ask them for a post filter. That worked for me and we couldnt live without the machine now

Strictly speaking, you would need to run culture tests in a sealed laboratory to conduct such a test. There is actually no way for the layman to verify that microorganisms are being killed by this device. Either you believe the company's claims, or you don't.

Whilst Healthway claim that they do not use ozone generation as a method of treating microorganisms, generally speaking, any high voltage system (18kV is considered high voltage) will generate some degree of ozone. All that is required is for an electrical connection wire to have some sharp edge and the high voltage will generate ozone. There is no solution to this, however since the device is Listed by the FDA as a Class II Medical Device, you should write a letter of complaint to Healthway.

Hi just a tip for you, if you can't find a filter you can buy filter media at your hardware store such as Home Depot, and have it cut to fit. It is good material made to replace any type filters. Sincerely,
